ACCIDENTAL & INSURANCE POLICY

This Accidental & Insurance Policy applies to all passengers using the services of Kathmandu Sightseeing and outlines the scope of insurance coverage and limitations related to accidents and incidents.
1. GENERAL DISCLAIMER
- Passengers participate in all sightseeing activities at their own risk.
- The purchase of a ticket does not include personal accident, medical, or travel insurance unless explicitly stated otherwise.
2. COMPANY INSURANCE COVERAGE
- Kathmandu Sightseeing maintains mandatory vehicle insurance and third-party liability coverage as required under the laws and regulations of Nepal.
- Such insurance coverage is limited to statutory requirements and does not extend to comprehensive personal accident or medical coverage for passengers.
3. PASSENGER RESPONSIBILITY
- Passengers are strongly advised to obtain adequate personal travel insurance, including coverage for medical expenses, accidents, personal belongings, and emergency evacuation.
- Kathmandu Sightseeing shall not be responsible for any costs, losses, or expenses incurred due to the absence or inadequacy of personal insurance coverage.
4. ACCIDENTS & INCIDENTS
- In the event of an accident or incident involving a Kathmandu Sightseeing vehicle, assistance will be provided in accordance with applicable laws and operational procedures.
- Any claims related to injury, loss, or damage must be supported by valid documentation and reported promptly to Kathmandu Sightseeing staff.
- The Company’s liability, if any, shall be limited to the extent required by applicable law.
5. PERSONAL BELONGINGS
- Kathmandu Sightseeing shall not be liable for loss, theft, or damage to passengers’ personal belongings during the tour.
- Passengers are responsible for safeguarding their own possessions at all times.
6. EXCLUSIONS
- The Company shall not be liable for: - Injuries or losses arising from passenger negligence or failure to follow safety instructions - Pre-existing medical conditions - Acts beyond the Company’s reasonable control
7. GOVERNING LAW
- This policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Nepal, with courts of Kathmandu having exclusive jurisdiction.
